Drake was awarded the Hal David Starlight Award (an award given to young songwriters) for writing Alicia Keys‘ “Un-Thinkable. SHOF (Songwriters Hall Of Fame) Chairman and legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb said: “Drake shines as a talented songwriter with a unique vision and we are pleased to honor him with the prestigious Hal David Starlight Award.” I agree, he is an amazing songwriter and one of the many talents that are missing in music now. He looked dapper with his lovely mother Sandi Graham on his arm. Singer Chaka Khan and Song-writer and singer Skylar Grey were among the guest at this event.
